Every summer the city of Antwerp seems to get invaded with a strange crowd of circus and theatre artists. With the cultural programme �Zomer van Antwerpen� (Summer of Antwerp), the city pampers its citizens and tourists with unseen performances that touch the heart and the inner child in even the most adult person of the audience.
Zomer van Antwerpen is an exuberant summer season which pops up at the most unexpected places in July and August and which can be felt throughout the city. World music on the cosiest squares, peculiar theatre performances on exclusive locations, movies at the river Scheldt and the pitch of contemporary circus on a new location, the Ledeganckkaai, just past Antwerp South.
A unique programme with many creations, the most beautiful international productions, a warm audience and for the first time: Royal de Luxe during the summer sales at the ' Meir'.
