Cooking workshops
A great boost for networking
To intensify relationships with booking ladies and business contacts in a creative and memorable way, Park Plaza Astrid Antwerp organized a series of cooking workshops. Hotel Chef, Ramon van de Griendt, surprised participants with culinary tips and tricks to cook a professional restaurant meal at home. This young chef�s style is international and trendy, starting from the reliable and tasty French cuisine.
All workshops - 4 in total - put a specific theme in the picture. Asparagus, sushi, lobster and desserts we�re the stars for these series. Every cooking evening was an event itself that Park Plaza Astrid Antwerp organized from A to Z. Guests were pampered with the Chef�s know-how, a nice booklet with background information on every theme, a genuine "I was a cook at Park Plaza Astrid Antwerp" apron and the tasty dishes they�ve cooked themselves, of course.
At the end of the series (participants could join as much workshops as they liked), everyone reacted enthusiastically, on the one hand because they�d learned a lot in the kitchen department, on the other hand because they had experienced a new and creative way of networking and building long-term relationships.
Mission succeeded and the Chef is already looking into his schedule to plan a new series of cooking workshops later this year or early 2009.
